How to take care of products

Silver (Ag) is the most ductile metal among other precious metals.
Silver jewelry is deformed much more easily than jewelry made of gold or platinum, and therefore requires special care.

How to keep jewelry in its original condition

Take off your jewelry before going to bed, or better yet, when you get home. To make your jewelry happy for a long time, avoid interaction with chemicals, cosmetics, and perfumes. Remove jewelry when visiting saunas, solarium, swimming pools, water parks and other places where there is a risk of exposure to water containing aggressive substances and direct ultraviolet radiation.

How to store jewelry at home

We have thought over and produced convenient storage organizer boxes, which can be purchased in each EVGENIA MOMENT branded department.
– Store ties and layered necklaces straight to avoid chain tangling.
– Store rings and earrings in individual bags or separate compartments of the box. This type of storage prevents them from rubbing against each other and causing minor damage and chips.
– Do not store jewelry in the bathroom. High humidity is harmful to all jewelry, especially those with inserts made of enamel and natural stones. They are “afraid” of elevated temperatures no less than moisture.
– Gold and silver items should be stored separately; it is believed that these two precious metals do not “love” each other.

What can lead to breakage or deformation of the jewelry

– Split ring designs cannot be “adjusted” to your size - this will lead to ruptures and breakage of the ring.
– Unintentional deformation of the rings can be caused by external influences during active recreation and sports, carrying heavy bags and packages, and physical labor.
– Take your time when putting on earrings - sudden movements and strong pressure can lead to bending of the pin and further breakage of the jewelry.
– Rubbing the body with a towel after water procedures can catch the jewelry and damage it. The lint of the towel can catch the stopper that holds the stone.

Cuff earrings - how to wear them correctly

We have prepared a video for you in which we tell you how to put on cuff earrings correctly to avoid breaking the anatomical stud.
Please watch it!

EVGENIA MOMENT ear cuffs, imitating piercings, designed to be worn on the ear cartilage, can be adjusted to your size no more than once and no more than 1 mm. Pressing more than once leads to microcracks and breakage of the jewelry. Cuffs with enamel or a decorative element in the form of a path of stones should not be pressed or subjected to any physical impact. In their case, due to compression even by 1mm, the inserts will fall out or the coating will crack.
Articles of cuffs that cannot be pressed:
CF061-12, CF061G-12, CF068-10, CF061-12, CF073, CF074, CF075, CF077, CF061-10.

Jewelry made of natural river pearls

Since pearls contain only 2% water, if there is a lack of water, pearls over time lose their shine and may begin to delaminate. Excess moisture also negatively affects pearls - they become cloudy and lose their natural shine.
Pearls are harmed by 4 things: bright light, elevated temperature and humidity, dust. Even ordinary house dust settles on pearls and can leave micro-scratches on them, which will lead to loss of shine. Pearls must be stored in a box lined with something soft on the inside. It is advisable to keep it separate from other jewelry.

Cleaning jewelry made from natural freshwater pearls

From time to time you need to delicately clean your pearls. To do this, you need to take cosmetic soap and, adding warm water, whip up the foam. Then, using a soft cloth, carefully treat each pearl with this foam. After this procedure, the pearls must be wiped with a soft cloth, periodically rinsing it in clean warm water. You need to dry pearls only in a horizontal position, spread out on a soft napkin, because when dried in a suspended state, the thread stretches.
